Happy New Year!

Pepper's Stocking Stuffer


Pepper aims to boost students' confidence in their ability to communicate a meaningful and useful phrase in a foreign language by giving them a booklet that fits in their jean pocket.  Students can study it during the holidays and then review the phrases with their teacher using the PowerPoint presentation or practice worksheet when school resumes.

Pepper and the New Year!





Pepper explains how and why twelve grapes are eaten for luck on New Year's Eve in many countries influenced by Spain.  Make a collage of grapes with students' wishes on each grape: a great activity for right before or after Winter break.
