El Día de los Muertos or Day of the Dead

In “El Día de los Muertos or Day of the Dead with Pepper the Pooch" Pepper helps students learn how and why El Día de los Muertos is celebrated on November 1st and 2nd in Mexico. It is a time to remember and cherish loved ones who have died, to celebrate their lives and to enjoy some festive traditions. Spanish vocabulary for the holiday is included, as well as a two-page sheet completely in Spanish.

Mindfulness Moves

Being the caring pup she is, Pepper would like to share her mindfulness moves with you at no cost!

Use these relaxing moves, based loosely on Tai Chi, to help re-center, re-focus, and re-energize.  These mindfulness moves can be done in regular clothing.  Four of the five moves can be done seated if necessary.

If desired, Spanish or French teachers can easily edit the names of the poses to make it more appropriate for early language courses, e.g., Flamingo becomes Flamenco or Flamant.
